She is fixed ladies and gentleman! 'Eunice' is sewing like a dream! She isn't skipping stitches, her tension is correct, her motor is running to perfection and she even has her own little red felt spool pad to complete the look. By way of induction into my realm of cherished items, I have christened her Eunice after one of my favorite characters from an old movie. Eunice was first purchased in 1953 and the name just seemed so fitting for that time period. I'm so happy with her and so excited for us to complete a garment together. Thus far we have only completed a 'test strip' due to some unforeseen, and some foreseen, circumstances.
Oh, and did I mention that Eunice means 'good victory' which is also quite fitting?
On an unrelated note, I really need a job. Because I don't have one, I am off to peruse The Collette Patterns blog since I have been neglecting it as of late.
